Activity Report for the Month of June 2018:



Event 1 : Workshop on “Rainbow Years – The Pluses of being 55 Plus”
The programme was aimed at executives who are either on the verge of
retirement or have just retired, The Workshop included sessions on:
Wealth Management, Lifestyle Management – Maintaining Health & Activity,
Levels through Yoga, Spirituality – its Role in Finding Good Life after Retirement
& Health Management. The Faculties were Mr Adheep Kumar Gooptu,
Financial Consultant, Dr Ujjal Kr Ghosh, Founder Secretary, Asian Yoga

Research Institute, Dr D P Chattopadhyay, Sr Prof & HoD, Globsyn Business
School, Dr Dhiresh Chowdhury, Geriatrician. The Participants were very
appreciative of the event as it addressed relevant issues for such an age group.
 The event was organized on June 15, 2018.

Event 2: Celebration of World Yoga Day with Lecture on “Benefits of Yoga and Meditation” by Yogacharya Dr Chanchal Roy

CMA celebrated the World Yoga Day by way of organizing a lecture for its
members and general public. Yogacharya Dr Chanchal Roy spoke on “Yoga &
Meditation”. He gave a small practical explanation too. The event was organized
 On June  21, 2018



Event 3: Workshop on “Empowering Women at Workplace” organized on
 June 22

The second workshop in the month was the long awaited workshop of CMA, which
 is very well acclaimed and sought after programme in the programme calendar of
the management fraternity of Kolkata. Briefly the programme had sessions like
Women’s Movement & Human Rights of Women, Sexual Harassment of Women at
Workplace, Equal Remuneration Act, Indecent Representaion of Women Act,
Maternity Benefit Act, Best Practices followed in different Companies. The invited
faculties were Mrs Madhumita Basu, Chief-Sales, Marketing & Innovation,
Nuvoco Vistas Corpn Ltd., Dr Ruchira Goswami, Faculty, NUJS, Kolkata,

Ms Paramita Chaudhuri, Consultant, Mrs Chandreyi Alam, Advocate,
Mr Gautam Ray, ED-HR& Admin, CESC Ltd, Mr Somesh Dasgupta, President,
 Corp Affairs & Admn, IPCL, Mr Rupak Barua, CEO, Amri Hospitals,
Dr Chandrima Banerjee, Director, Unigrow Solutions Pvt Ltd.The event was organized on June 22nd.


Event 4: 60th Annual General Meeting of CMA on June 23, 2018-07-01:
The 60th AGM of CMA was organized on June 23, 2018. In the election new
Executive was elected. The new office bearers of CMA are Prof Asok K Banerjee,
 Sr Prof, IEM Group (President), Mr Amitabha Datta, Director, Calcutta Media
 Institute (Vice President) and Mr T V S Shenoy, Chief of Marketing & Sales – FAMD,
Tata Steel Ltd. (Treasurer)

The 60 th AGM of CMA was organized on June 23, 2018. In the election new  Executive was elected.
